"Blueberries" (2025) Painting

8x10" oil on wood canvas.

This piece is part of a collection of paintings that mark the beginning of my oil painting journey. I was captivated by the round shapes of the blueberries, how the light hit them delicately and the shadows were harsh - allowing for the blueberries to appear vibrant, rounded and delectable. Blueberries have been used by Indigenous people since time immemorial, as sustenance and as medicine.

All paintings will be carefully packaged and shipped. Paintings will not be shipped out until April 30th.
