"Earth Bound" (2024) Painting

This piece features a woman holding a swallow - a type of bird that spends so much of its life in flight, travelling over 300 km per day. The woman is holding the bird, symbolizing her ability to keep the bird earth bound. It's a reflection of the powerful nature of women and those with the unique ability of deeply connecting to animals.
